With close to 100 years in the oil industry, Talon recognized a need for an alternative coating. Talon reached out to coating applicators asking them what the industry is needing for an answer to their problems. After putting together a composite wish list of parameters, Talon spent over 18 months developing a thin film ceramic coating, TalonCOAT™, which can be oven cured or ambient cured, currently making it the only coating in the market that can do both. This gives the applicator an advantage to use TalonCOAT™ in the field or in a shop setting. Talon is working with applicators to provide their clients with an alternative coating solution.
